Our hard working Orion Simulator team just finished deploying the all new and exciting approach version for Isavia ANS ATCO school. On that occasion the Orion Simulator team invited people from both Tern Systems and Isavia ANS to celebrate the milestone!

The main goal of the current Orion Simulator with Isavia ANS is to adapt and deploy the Orion Simulator for both en-route and approach. Full en-route capabilities were deployed in Q1 2023 and now the team has finalized the deployment of the approach system as well. This means that now Isavia ANS has a state of the art integrated training system for the whole radar environment from APP to ACC and Oceanic.

Last week, we concluded the Innovation Days Hackathon 2024 at Tern Systems. It's always incredible how productive two days of work can be when teams have no restrictions! Seven innovative projects were presented at the finale.

The overall winning team developed a novel Aircraft Crisis Support Tool for Air Traffic Controllers. The team, located in our Warsaw and Budapest offices, didn’t have a chance to take a photo together, so they came up with this creative idea to depict themselves as a "gang of banditos."

Also depicted are the runners-up, who developed a situational display for aviation enthusiasts.
